2. Check Your Roof
Your roof is the first part of your home to take the brunt of what mother nature throws at us. Before winter arrives always check your roof for any cracked or missing tiles. Hot air rises so having broken or missing tiles will mean that your heater has to work double time to warm your house up.
Winter also brings lots of rain and moisture. Missing tiles means your home is not protected from water damage.
