The Modern Rewards Credit Program is operated by the following entities (each a “Modern Group entity”):
Modern Group (SA) – Modern Group (VIC) – Modern Group (WA) – Modern Group (NSW) – Modern Group (QLD)
Each entity operates independently within its respective state and is responsible for administering the program in that jurisdiction.
Expiry
Modern Rewards Credits are valid for 24 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
Any unused credit will expire automatically after this period.
Transferability
Modern Rewards Credits may be used by the original recipient or transferred to a family member or friend.
Transferred credits retain the original expiry date and remain subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Exclusions
Modern Rewards Credits cannot be applied to: Service or repair work, Extended warranties, Statutory charges, including (but not limited to): Builders Warranty Insurance, Council or authority approval fees or any non-related additional charges related to completing the work.
Redemption
The Modern Rewards Credit must be disclosed and presented before or at the time of purchase.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards
Lost, stolen or damaged Modern Rewards Credit cards may not be replaced except where required by law.
Cancellations & Misuse
If a qualifying purchase is cancelled or refunded, any applied Modern Rewards Credit will be void.
Modern Group reserves the right, acting reasonably and in good faith, to refuse redemption where misuse, system error, or fraud is reasonably suspected.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Modern Rewards Credit Program is handled in accordance with Modern Group’s Privacy Policy.
Modern Rewards Credit is our way of saying thank you for choosing Modern.
After completing an eligible Modern installation, you’ll receive a Modern Rewards Credit that can be used towards a future eligible Modern home improvement project. If you’re not planning another project just yet, you can transfer the full value of your Rewards Credit to a family member or friend.
Modern Rewards Credit is a promotional credit applied to an eligible purchase. It is not a gift card, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
It’s easy! If your completed Modern installation is $3,000 or more (including GST), you’ll automatically receive a Modern Rewards Credit once your installation has been completed.
Your Rewards Credit will be personalised with your reward value and mailed directly to you, along with a welcome letter explaining how to use or share it.
One Modern Rewards Credit is issued for each eligible completed purchase.
The value of your Modern Rewards Credit is based on the total value of your eligible completed installation.
Eligible Contract Value Modern Rewards Credit
$3,000 – $4,999 $250
$5,000 – $6,999 $500
$7,000 – $8,999 $750
$9,000 or more $1,000
The higher the value of your eligible purchase, the greater your Modern Rewards Credit.
Your Modern Rewards Credit is valid for 24 months from the date of issue, giving you plenty of time to plan your next home improvement project or share your Rewards Credit with a family member or friend.
Any unused Rewards Credit will automatically expire after the 24 month validity period, so we encourage you to make the most of it before it expires.
Yes! One of the great benefits of Modern Rewards is that you can share it.
If you’re not planning another project, simply transfer your Modern Rewards Credit to a family member or friend so they can enjoy the benefits of choosing Modern too.
The transferred Rewards Credit keeps its full value, original expiry date, and is subject to the same Terms & Conditions.
The 20% Loyalty Boost is our way of saying thank you for choosing Modern again.
When the original cardholder redeems their own Modern Rewards Credit on a future eligible purchase, we’ll automatically increase the value of their Rewards Credit by 20%.
For example:
The Loyalty Boost is an exclusive benefit available only to the original cardholder and cannot be transferred.
Yes. Your Modern Rewards Credit can be redeemed on any eligible Modern home improvement purchase of $3,000 or more (including GST).
This minimum purchase requirement applies to all Rewards Credits, including those transferred to family members or friends.
