What do these facts all have in common
Water tanks can do all of the above by harnessing the free rainwater landing on your roof and without sacrificing your lifestyle and activities. Wherever you live in Australia, water conservation is an issue. Whether your environmentally or economically driven, saving water will be a great benefit to your family, your community and your pocket.
With over 150,000 litres of water consumed by every Australian each year, we are widely considered to be the worst water users in the world and with less than 1% of fresh water available for use something has to be done. As bad enough as it is, we are the driest continent as well and currently in the greatest water crisis in over 100 years. The Modern Group not only offers prestige and protection for homeowners and their home, we have recognised that the environment must also be secured for the future.
Modern Rainwater Tanks offer environmental responsibility and awareness, provide additional water for outdoor usage not subject to government water restrictions and also benefit by saving on bills.
Free water, It's on the house
Although rainwater tanks have been used in rural Australia for decades, we have recently seen widespread adoption within urban developments. Growing environmental awareness & water shortages coupled with economic pressures have once again thrown rainwater tanks into the limelight. Rainwater provides a renewable supply of this precious commodity & water tanks are the most efficient solution for rainwater harnessing.
With 30 years experience in a range of home improvement products, Modern Rainwater Tanks have a rock solid, industry leading 25 years manufacturers warranty.
Getting your roof ready for rainwater collection
We originally launched our rainwater tank range after being overwhelmed with enquiries from our roof restoration customers. After cleaning, repair and restoration, roofs are in perfect condition to begin harvesting rainwater and our proprietary Supablock roof coatings add nothing to the rainwater being collected on roofs, ensuring a healthy supply of water. Your consultant can also assess the readiness of your roof for rainwater harvesting.
Rest assured that when it comes you family's source of clean and renewable water, we take these issues very seriously!
