Additional Code Pads
All of our security systems come with one code pad as standard. However if you utilise several entry points in your home, such as the back door, garage entry and front door additional code pads can be added to assist in creating convenience and peace of mind by monitoring the premises or multiple entry points of the home.
Sensors
All Modern Streamline Security Systems come standard with 2 sensors. Modern supply a range of additional sensors, from simple PIR sensors to more technologically advanced pet sensors. Our qualified security consultants can provide you with the solution to suit all your needs & requirements.
Alarm System Key Ring Remote
All Modern Streamline Security Systems can have a remote control fitted for the convenience of arming or disarming. These are small enough to be fitted to your key ring. Each remote has the ability to trip a panic alarm in the event of an emergency. Modern's Technicians can also arrange for the opening & closing of the garage door from the very same remote. Leaving the often, cumbersome door openers as a spare.
In the event that one of these remotes is lost, a service call can be arranged to have the remote deleted from the system to render it useless & to avoid compromising the security of the premises, the customer can arrange for a replacement remote from the same call.
Emergency Panic Button
All of our alarm code pads have a panic button built in. However for that added peace of mind, customers can install additional panic buttons in discrete places which can be triggered in the event of a break in. These can help in notifying others of would be intruders or that you may require some other form of assistance.
External Strobe & Siren
The external siren creates instant awareness and deterrent that your home is secured. In the event of a trigger the alarm will sound and cancel after a given time. The blue light will continue to emit light to bring to attention that the alarm has been triggered since arming. The external siren can also be set up so you the homeowner can get an audible response when you have armed the alarm, just like a car alarm.
Internal Siren
The Internal Screamer comes standard with every Modern Hardwired Alarm System. Designed to emit a high frequency alert at the trigger of an alarm within the home. Extra internal screamers can be added to your system if you so wish to, simply ask our qualified consultants for more information.
Look C Video Intercom
Never be surprised by visitors again with the Modern Look C video intercom. The Look C is a video intercom system which allows you to see and communicate with anyone at your door, from a safe distance, providing you with added security. There is no need to turn on your porch light at night, the Modern Look C has an in built infra red illumination for night time.
The Look C is made from the highest quality components. You can screen your house callers without even picking up the receiver as the monitor operates as soon as the doorbell is pressed. The Look C video intercom is the perfect complement to any Modern Streamline Security System.
Personal Attack Alarms
Personal Attack alarms are a great way to alert people of problems in a unique portable audible siren. Personal attack alarms are easy to carry around in your handbag or car and in the event of an emergency or duress you can press the button to set of the loud siren.
Window & Door Reed Switches
A reed switch is designed purely to protect the perimeter of your home, by providing a security mechanism for doors and windows. Once doors and windows are closed, the switches create a connection, once broken will sound the alarm. Secondly Reed Switches are often used in conjunction with PIR's to provide a reminder when arming the alarm that you may have left some windows or doors open.
- 3 common Types of Reed Switches Used:
- Concealed Reed Switch Flush Mount generally for Timber Doors & Door frames. This type cannot be seen easily after installation.
- Surface Mount Reed Switch Most windows & sliding doors or where concealed reeds cannot be used. This type is mounted on the surface of the window(s) or door(s).
- Magnet Mounts to the door, sectional, roller or tilt-a-door type. Switch Mounted to floor or premises. Heavy duty with armoured cable. Can easily withstand any vehicle driving or standing on it.
